About Us
Every young person deserves access to trusted information, caring adults, and the opportunity to build healthy relationships. For thousands of Texans, Healthy Futures of Texas has been that trusted resource to whom they can turn.
Today, our vital work is at risk—not because the need has disappeared, but because the federal funding that made much of it possible was abruptly terminated.
That puts young people at risk as well—because accurate information about relationships, consent, mental health, sexually transmitted infections, and their future may no longer be available to them.
With your generosity, we will continue to be a source of medically-accurate, age appropriate education for youth, their families, and those who support them.
Who We Are
Perhaps you know us by our previous name, Ntarupt, the North Texas Alliance to Reduce Unintended Pregnancy in Teens. In August 2022, we merged with Austin based Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, and San Antonio based Healthy Futures of Texas under the name Healthy Futures of Texas. We are comprised of 36 professionals with expertise in health education, healthcare delivery, continuing education for youth-serving professionals, policy, and research. Our team members are based in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, El Paso, and the Rio Grande Valley.
While we are now statewide, we maintain a strong local presence with community based and community informed services throughout North Texas.
