Giving Activity
Mission
Our purpose is to give the orphaned kittens at the local animal shelter a second chance at life. Our team is comprised of several foster homes where each kitten that comes into our program receives all current vaccines, quality medical care, and most importantly the love and attention they require to have the best foundation. All of our kittens are spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to going to their forever homes. To date we have saved over 1000 kittens since September 2018.
Needs
Since partnering with The Twisted Whisker, our intake and adoption numbers have grown significantly. Having access to their cozy, cage-free lounge has made a tremendous impact. The kittens are free to express their true personalities, which helps them connect with potential adopters more quickly and naturally.
As our focus remains on rescuing vulnerable kittens, we’re hoping to take the next step in providing life-saving care. Many of the kittens we receive are just days to a couple of weeks old and require constant, specialized attention. An incubator would be an incredible asset in helping us give these fragile babies the best possible chance at survival.
The funds we receive also support our medical and enrichment programs - covering essential needs like vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and providing fosters with cutting-edge equipment. Your support also helps supply nutritious food, toys, bedding, and other essentials that ensure every kitten not only survives - but thrives.
