Greater Fort Worth Community Band

A nonprofit organization

Founded in 2004 through the collaborative efforts of Dee Tucker and Henry Schraub, the Greater Fort Worth Community Band is a vibrant ensemble of approximately 60 musicians from diverse professional backgrounds, including education, healthcare, law enforcement, and engineering. Under the direction of Dr. Christine F. Beason since 2013, the band rehearses weekly at Texas Wesleyan University's Nicholas Martin Performance Hall. We believe in the power of music to unite, inspire, and uplift, and we are committed to making live music accessible to all. Your generous support ensures that we can continue to share the joy of music with our community for years to come.

Mission

Our mission is to enrich the cultural fabric of Fort Worth by providing free, high-quality concert band performances and music education opportunities to the community.
