AMBUCS Mission Statement: Inspiring people to conquer challenges related to mobility and independence, through a nationwide network of volunteer chapters, working in partnership with physical, occupational and speech therapists; by providing Amtryke adaptive trykes, scholarships for therapists and many forms of community services
There are at least 16 different Amtryke models available to meet the specific needs of individuals. Amtrykes cost from $675 to over $1,200, depending on the model and individual customizations required.
We work Shoulders Together with physical and occupational therapists to Inspire Mobility and Independence in individuals of all ages by providing them with individualized Amtyrkes (therapeutic tricycles).
We raise all funds through donations and fundraisers to provide Amtrykes to recipients at no cost to them.
The average cost of an Amtryke varies between $675 and $1200, depending on size and customization.
We are seeking $5,000 to help purchase Amtrykes.
Upon referral from a physical therapist or occupational therapist, we provide customized therapeutic tricycles (Amtrykes) to individuals with mobility issues without reservation or discrimination. Amtrykes are presented free of charge to all in need.
