Great Hearts Prairie View is the newest Great Hearts school in North Texas. At Great Hearts Prairie View, you will be ushered into a community that embraces a tradition of humanity that spans thousands of years old and be exposed to the best of what has been said and written. This tradition is a classical education in the liberal arts and sciences: an education that cultivates the hearts and minds of students through the pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.
At Great Hearts, our mission is simple yet profound: to provide a network of public charter schools where students are challenged through a classical, liberal arts education. We believe that true learning goes beyond academics—it shapes character, cultivates wisdom, and inspires a lifelong pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty.
Our goal is to prepare scholars not only to excel at the nation’s most selective colleges and universities, but also to become thoughtful leaders who contribute to a more compassionate and just society. Above all, we seek to graduate young men and women who are “great-hearted”—individuals who carry a strong sense of purpose and a calling to serve the greater good.
The Community Investment Campaign is the lifeline that ensures our scholars and faculty have the tools they need to truly flourish. At Great Hearts, we are committed to delivering a world-class, classical liberal arts education—but unlike traditional public schools, charter schools do not receive local tax revenue or state funding for facilities. This creates a significant funding gap that only the generosity of our community can bridge.
