People Do Change. We See It Every Day.
At GraceToChange, we believe that addiction does not have to define a person's future. Every day, we witness lives being transformed as adolescents and adults find hope, healing, and a path toward lasting recovery.
For 15 years, GraceToChange has met individuals where they are—providing proven outpatient substance abuse treatment, support, accountability, and the tools needed to break the cycle of addiction. We know that recovery is possible because we see it happen every day.
Our founder and Executive Director, Shannon White, is living proof that people can change. Her journey inspired a mission that has helped thousands of individuals and families reclaim their lives.
What makes GraceToChange different? Recovery doesn't end when treatment ends. We provide weekly aftercare support at no additional cost, creating a community where clients continue to grow, build sober relationships, and encourage one another. Those further along in recovery become mentors, offering hope to those just beginning their journey.
We proudly serve high-risk, high-need individuals throughout Collin County, including those involved with the court system, probation, CPS, or other challenging circumstances. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, rebuild, and thrive.
Our impact has been recognized throughout the community:
🏆 Recipient of the McKinney Community Development Corporation Quality of Life Award, recognizing our commitment to serving those who might otherwise be left without help.
🏆 GraceToChange's own Kim Hughes was honored as Leadership McKinney Alumnus of the Year for her tireless dedication to strengthening our community.
But the real awards are the lives restored, the families reunited, and the futures rewritten.
Because people do change.
Because recovery works.
Because every life is worth saving.
Join us as we continue changing lives and bringing hope to our community—one person, one family, one recovery journey at a time. This is one of those stories.
