OUR MISSION

Grace Place exists to meet both the spiritual and physical needs of our community with the love of Jesus. Through practical resources like food, prayer, and care, we strive to remind every person that they are seen, valued, and not alone.

OUR STORY

Grace Place began with a simple heart: to create a space where people in Anna and the surrounding communities could find hope, help, and healing. What started as a local food bank has grown into a vital outreach ministry, serving hundreds of families every month. We believe in offering more than just groceries. We create a welcoming environment where neighbors can connect, receive encouragement, and experience the tangible love of God through every act of kindness. Approximately 60 families per month were in need of food pantry services when Grace Place opened the current facility in spring of 2021. Now, in 2025, Grace Place is serving 120+ families per week! We are honored and grateful for our community partners and those who have provided for needs these past 4 years, and those opportunities to provide for our community are growing at a steady rate. We receive food donations at Grace Place any time the doors are open, during coffee shop hours or when our food pantry is open.

Grace Place Food Pantry is a collaborative outreach program by the community, for the community. We are a “choice” food pantry, which means allowing our neighbors to select their own food instead of pre-packaging it for them. This enables people with health concerns to select exactly what they need to reduce waste that is produced when people are given what they cannot eat or do not prefer.

Grace Place offers grace & hope to anyone who may be facing difficult times, and we believe there shouldn’t be any restrictions on where the blessings need to come from. That means everyone has an opportunity to be a part of Grace Place, including YOU!

WHO WE serve

We serve families, individuals, seniors, and children in Collin County and beyond who are facing food insecurity or crisis needs. Many are working families trying to make ends meet, while others are walking through unexpected hardships. At Grace Place, everyone is welcomed with dignity and compassion.

IMPACT

    • 43,200+ meals provided annually through our pantry

    • Hundreds of families served each month

    • Volunteers serve weekly to stock shelves, greet guests, and pray with families

    • Countless prayers and moments of encouragement shared

Every number represents a story of hope - a mom breathing easier because she has groceries for her kids, a senior reminded they are not forgotten, a student starting the school year with confidence.

FUTURE

Our guests often say, “It just feels different here.” That difference is Jesus, present in every warm greeting, every shared prayer, and every act of kindness.

And now, God is opening new doors. Phase 1 of our expansion is underway with a single court gym being built at 1737 County Road 1036, Anna, TX. This space will become a safe and joyful place for kids, teens, families, and seniors to gather, grow, and belong. While we build for the future, our Food Pantry remains right where it is, continuing to serve with the same love and care that started it all.

This gym is just the beginning of the Grace Place Community Center, a 7.5 acre vision for deeper connection and greater impact.

From groceries to games, from prayer to programs, every part of Grace Place exists to share the hope of Jesus and to build a stronger and united community.
