OUR MISSION

Grace Place exists to meet the needs of our community by providing food, support, and compassionate care. We are committed to treating every person with dignity and respect, striving to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors feels seen, valued, and not alone.

OUR STORY

Grace Place was founded with a simple vision: to create a place where individuals and families in Anna and the surrounding communities could find hope, support, and practical resources during difficult seasons. What began as a local food pantry has grown into a community resource serving hundreds of families each week.

At Grace Place, we believe in providing more than groceries. We strive to create a welcoming environment where every person is treated with dignity, feels valued, and knows they are not alone. Through food assistance, community partnerships, and compassionate care, we work together to meet the growing needs of our neighbors.

When Grace Place opened its current facility in the spring of 2021, approximately 60 families per week received food pantry services. Today, in 2026, we serve more than 200 families each week.  We are deeply grateful for the generous individuals, businesses, churches, and community partners whose support has made this growth possible. As the needs of our community continue to increase, so do the opportunities to make a meaningful difference.

Food donations are welcome whenever the building is open, including during coffee shop hours and regular food pantry hours.

Grace Place Food Pantry is a collective community effort, made possible by people who care about helping their neighbors. As a choice pantry, individuals and families can select the foods that best meet their dietary needs, personal preferences, and household circumstances. This approach promotes dignity, reduces food waste, and helps ensure that each family receives food they can use.

EVERYONE has the opportunity to make a difference as Grace Place. Whether you choose to volunteer, donate, partner with us, or simply share our mission with others, your support helps bring hope, nourishment, and encouragement to families throughout our community.

WHO WE serve

We serve families, individuals, seniors, and children in Collin County and beyond who are facing food insecurity or crisis needs. Many are working families trying to make ends meet, while others are walking through unexpected hardships. At Grace Place, everyone is welcomed with dignity and compassion.

IMPACT

    • 43,200+ meals provided annually through our pantry

    • Hundreds of families are served each week

    • Volunteers serve weekly to stock shelves, greet guests, and pray with families

    • Countless prayers and moments of encouragement were shared

Every number represents a story of hope - a mom breathing easier because she has groceries for her kids, a senior reminded they are not forgotten, a student starting the school year with confidence.

FUTURE

Our guests often say, “It just feels different here.” That difference is Jesus, present in every warm greeting, every shared prayer, and every act of kindness.

And now, God is opening new doors. Phase 1 of our expansion is underway with a single court gym being built at 1737 County Road 1036, Anna, TX. This space will become a safe and joyful place for kids, teens, families, and seniors to gather, grow, and belong. While we build for the future, our Food Pantry remains right where it is, continuing to serve with the same love and care that started it all.

This gym is just the beginning of the Grace Place Community Center, a 7.5 acre vision for deeper connection and greater impact.

From groceries to games, from prayer to programs, every part of Grace Place exists to share the hope of Jesus and to build a stronger and united community.
