GoldStar Horse Rescue and Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and sanctuary for abused, neglected and abandoned horses. The Sanctuary also provides a safe haven for elderly horses to retire in comfort and safety and live out their lives being horses who are loved and cared for.
We are always in need of basic supplies such as grain, hay and medicines and supplements, as well as funds for farrier and veterinary care. Texas has experienced a severe drought driving up the price of grain and hay. We seeking funding to feed our horses for the winter.
Currently we are fundraising to cover our arena so we can rehab, exercise and train horses and provide education to children and adults as to caring for horses no matter what the weather brings us. In addition we are fundraising for assistance with veterinary care, grain, hay and farrier expense for our 50 horses
