Each year, we bring our community together for a fun and meaningful day celebrating generosity and the impact we can make for local families.
The Annual Day of Givingmas typically includes live music, food, games, raffles, stories from Givingmas families, and plenty of opportunities to get involved and give back. We’re planning another great day this year, so mark your calendar and stay tuned!

At Givingmas, our mission is to strengthen communities by identifying and supporting families who are actively working to overcome hardship. We provide a hand up, not a handout, offering short-term, personalized assistance, connections to compassionate donors and community resources, and practical tools that promote long-term stability and lasting change, one family at a time.

$10 | Provide Everyday Essentials
Help with immediate needs such as personal care items, school supplies, clothing, household necessities, and other essentials that help families stay on track.
$25 | Support the Next Step Toward Employment
Help a parent or young adult prepare for employment with resume development, job applications, interview preparation, work uniforms, supplies, and other career-related needs.
$50 | Build Stronger Financial Habits
Support financial coaching and practical money-management skills, including creating a budget, developing a savings plan, opening a bank account, understanding credit, managing bills, and beginning the credit repair process.
$100 | Help Clear Legal Barriers
Help families address tickets, court costs, outstanding warrants, driver’s license issues, reinstatement needs, and other legal challenges that can stand in the way of employment and stability.
$250 | Keep a Family Safely on the Road
Help with vehicle repairs, insurance, registration, licensing, and other transportation needs that help families become safely and legally road-ready and maintain reliable transportation.
$500 | Invest in Career Growth
Help fund trade school, professional certifications, licensing, job training, or other educational opportunities that can lead to better employment, increased earning potential, and long-term career growth.
$1,000 | Provide Ongoing Mentorship & Accountability
Help provide months of personalized mentorship, goal setting, accountability, and one-on-one support as a family works through financial, career, legal, transportation, housing, and other challenges on their path toward independence.
Every gift, at every level, helps Givingmas remove barriers and provide families with the tools, resources, and support they need to build lasting stability.
At Givingmas, equity means every family has the same opportunity for support. All of our nominations are reviewed anonymously, with no reference to ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or other identifiers. These factors are irrelevant in our decision-making process, because what matters most is the family’s need and their commitment to moving forward.
We believe in providing a hand up, not a handout—treating each family with dignity, respect, and fairness. By focusing on barriers and solutions rather than labels, we ensure that every family we serve receives support based solely on their unique circumstances and goals.
