The Garland Parks Foundation

A nonprofit organization

$200 raised by 3 donors

We’re a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a big mission and even bigger love for our hometown.

The Garland Parks Foundation works to protect, improve, and celebrate the parks, trails, and

green spaces that make our community thrive.

Our focus? The Four T’s – Trees, Trails, Trash, and Tributes. We plant and

protect trees, improve and expand trails, keep our parks beautiful by tackling litter, and

create lasting tributes—like memorial benches and plaques—that tell Garland’s stories for

generations.

When you give, you’re not just donating—you’re investing in cleaner parks, shady trails,

greener spaces, and a more connected community. Whether it’s helping a family enjoy a

picnic under a newly planted tree or creating a bench in honor of a loved one, your support

makes it happen.

Let’s make Garland greener, cleaner, and more beautiful—together!

Mission

The Garland Parks Foundation is a local 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation dedicated to preserving, enhancing, and celebrating Garland’s parks and open spaces. We focus on the “Four T’s” — Trees, Trails, Trash, and Tributes — to grow a greener, cleaner, and more connected city. Guided by our “Four E’s” — Educate, Empower, Energize, and Engage — we embrace Garland’s diversity of people, cultures, abilities, and experiences, ensuring our parks remain places where everyone belongs, participates, and thrives, today and for generations to come.
