For nearly six decades, Garland Civic Theatre (GCT) has been bringing the magic of live theatre to North Texas. As the longest-running community theatre in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, we are proud to have served Garland and the surrounding communities for 59 seasons—and we're just getting started.
Garland Civic Theatre is a volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to enriching our community through exceptional live theatre. We produce high-quality performances that entertain, educate, and inspire while providing opportunities for people of all ages and experience levels to explore their creativity, develop new skills, and build lasting connections through the performing arts.
From actors and directors to set builders, costume designers, ushers, and backstage crews, our productions come to life because of the passion and dedication of our volunteers. Every performance is a true community effort.
As we look to the future, we are committed to expanding access to the arts, strengthening our community partnerships, and bringing back our Children on Stage program to inspire and nurture the next generation of performers and theatre lovers.
