At G.O.L.F. 3:16, we believe that building strong character starts with meaningful connection, intentional mentorship, and the timeless values found in the Word of God.
Founded in 2011, G.O.L.F. 3:16 is much more than a sports program for youth ages 9-14. G.O.L.F. 3:16 transcends sports by teaching: Faith, Self-Discipline, Respect, Servanthood, Accountability, Integrity, and Forgiveness. G.O.L.F. 3:16 is a positive support system that provides tools, resources, and information coordinated and supervised through volunteers and a Board of Directors who are committed to providing a safe environment in the community where youth can participate in quality educational, recreational, spiritual, and cultural activities. Each year there's a (7) week golf program, on Sunday afternoons, with golf instruction provided by adult coaches/mentors. Program topics include: Week 1: Respect, Week 2: Faith, Week 3: Integrity, Week 4: Servanthood, Week 5: Accountability, Week 6: Self-Discipline, Week 7: Forgiveness. Participating youth are honored at an Awards Banquet and participate in monthly community service projects and life skills sessions throughout the year.
This North Texas Giving Day, we invite you to “Swing Into Character”—by helping us reach more at-risk youth in Collin, Denton, and Dallas Counties through golf, leadership development, and faith-based life skills training.
Together, we’re not just teaching a game, we’re shaping future leaders with courage, compassion, and conviction.
Youth in our area are facing real challenges:
G.O.L.F.3:16 offers more than a pastime, it’s a strategic intervention that draws at-risk youth into positive mentorship, sport, spiritual formation, and leadership development; bridging the gap where schools, pure recreational programs, or typical community outreach may not be effective.
But we can’t do it alone.
Your gift makes all of this possible, from golf gear and uniforms to meals, mentorship stipends, scholarships, and training for our dedicated mentors.
G.O.L.F. 3:16 is a faith-based nonprofit serving at-risk youth ages 9–14. We combine the fundamentals of golf with biblical principles to mentor and develop youth into leaders who live with purpose.
Through weekly clinics, one-on-one mentorship, and life skills classes, we help students grow in faith, focus, self-discipline, and service, building lives that are anchored in character and filled with possibility that starts with access.
In a culture where many young people are drifting, we’re proud to be a stabilizing force for the next generation.

We serve communities often overlooked; Black, Brown, and economically vulnerable families whose kids have talent, vision, and purpose but need access to opportunity and support to thrive.
Golf has long been underrepresented:
Only 3% of PGA professionals are Black, and youth of color make up less than 5% of junior golf players nationwide. We’re working to change that—one child, one club, one swing at a time.
When you support G.O.L.F. 3:16, you’re not just helping a child learn to swing a club, you’re investing in equity, dignity, and leadership that can transform entire families and communities.
