At The Golden S.E.E.D.S. Foundation, we recognize that homeownership is more than just closing on a house—it’s about building long-term stability, financial security, and a thriving community. Our "Mastering the Move: Transitioning from Renter to Owner" workshop series is designed to equip new homeowners with the critical knowledge and resources they need to successfully navigate homeownership.
This 10-week educational series, will provide in-depth, practical guidance on key aspects of homeownership. Each session will feature subject matter experts offering valuable insights, interactive discussions, and actionable strategies.
Impact & Sustainability
This workshop series will empower new homeowners by providing them with the skills and confidence to maintain long-term homeownership success. The educational approach focuses on financial literacy, legal knowledge, and community engagement, ensuring that participants are well-equipped to thrive in their new roles as homeowners.
Through this program, The Golden S.E.E.D.S. Foundation aims to reduce homeownership challenges, prevent foreclosure, and strengthen community ties in The Bottom District and beyond.
The Golden S.E.E.D.S Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 community development corporation was organized from a desire to become a conduit of resources into the neighborhood referred to as the Bottom.
Sowing Empowerment, Encouragement, and Development for the Spirit of our community is the S.E.E.D.S. acronym defined.
The Mission of The Golden S.E.E.D.S. Foundation, Inc. is to transform the Bottom neighborhood into a vibrant community through acts of justice and mercy. We seek to accomplish this through the promotion of social justice action and economic empowerment creating hope for the most vulnerable in our community.
The neighborhood community is bounded by the Trinity River Levee on the North, I-35 on the West, Eighth Street on the South and Corinth on the East.
