The Golden SEEDS program impacts include the following:
- Summer Leadership Academy - 6 week summer academy for children/youth that includes exposure to the arts, community service, career exploration, and civic engagement with local political leaders (The COVID 19 pandemic resulted in the 2020 Academy cancellation).
- New Construction Home Ownership program - Helping existing and future residents access affordable housing options.
-Neighborhood Beautification and safety program - Enhancing existing assets to ensure community safety and pride, while embracing the existing history and culture.
- Financial Education workshops and Training - Providing opportunities for current and future residents to access long-term financial wealth.
- A Community Garden - Provide fresh vegetables and fruit for a neighborhood located in a Food Dessert. The nearest grocery store is five (5) miles away.

Mission

The Golden S.E.E.D.S Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 community development corporation was organized from a desire to become a conduit of resources into the neighborhood referred to as the Bottom.

Sowing Empowerment, Encouragement, and Development for the Spirit of our community is the SEEDS acronym defined.

The Mission of The Golden S.E.E.D.S. Foundation, Inc. is to transform the Bottom neighborhood into a vibrant community through acts of justice and mercy. We seek to accomplish this through the promotion of social justice action and economic empowerment creating hope for the most vulnerable in our community.

The neighborhood community is bounded by the Trinity River Levee on the North, I-35 on the West, Eighth Street on the South and Corinth on the East.
