$5,000 Goal

Friends of Shiloh Garden harvests over 60,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables annually. All of this food goes to the hungry at no charge.

Your donation provides fresh, locally-grown produce to the hungry in Denton. We partner with Tarrant Area Food Bank, Denton Community Food Center, Freedom House, and many more to distribute this food to those facing food insecurity.

It takes lots of water, fuel, and seed to grow the fresh fruits and vegetables to feed hungry people in Denton County. Your support helps us have all the resources we need to keep growing and, most importantly, feeding those who need it.

Shiloh Field sits on 14.5 acres in Denton, not far from Texas Woman's University campus. It is the largest urban community garden in the United States. Thousands of volunteer hours a month run Shiloh Field.

Giving Activity

Mission

Friends of Shiloh Garden is a community garden providing fresh produce to those in need, primarily in Denton and greater Denton County.

Needs

We are using funds raised to help pay our bills for water, gas for vehicles, toilet facilities, plumbing repair, and tools. Additional funds beyond our goal will help fund special projects such as recovering tunnels and road improvements.
