The Friends of the Burleson Public Library:
- Conducts ongoing fund-raising projects
- Encourages citizens to use the library and its services
- Serves as ambassadors of goodwill for the library
- Sponsors and underwrites programs for the library that are not included in the budget

Mission
Organized in 1989, the Friends of the Burleson Public Library, a 501 (c) (3) organization, is comprised of individuals, businesses, and organizations with a mutual goal of support for the library.
Needs
Burleson has a 17,000 sq. ft. building serving a 55,000 and growing community. We're using every inch of space and programs that fill our capacity regularly, and many are moved outdoors or off site. To support this great service, the FOL would like to fund these additional needs. Specifically, the Friends of the Library need to raise $5,000 for the 2027 Summer Reading Program as well as replacing toys and program materials for the children's section.

Friends of the Burleson Public Library agree with the Library that we recognize each person is unique with different needs. We strive to help the Library provide programs and materials to help everyone with what they need to succeed.
