Laptops for foster teens - needed!

In 2019, amidst the COVID-19 crisis, when schools shifted to remote learning, we recognized the urgent need for laptops among foster children. Many students either didn't have access to a laptop or had to share one with others, making it difficult for them to keep up with their studies. The situation was even more challenging for teenagers who relied on public library computers, only to face the closure of these vital resources.

In response to this pressing need, our charity sprang into action, raising funds to provide laptops to foster children from elementary to high school. Since then, we have been working tirelessly to bridge the digital divide and empower these deserving young individuals.

Today, we continue to provide laptops to teenagers in foster care, as well as those who are about to graduate. We collaborate closely with dedicated case workers, judges, group homes, and respite care workers to identify the children who will benefit most from our program. By distributing laptops through trusted channels, we ensure that they reach those who need them the most.

The impact of our laptop program extends far beyond education. These laptops open up a world of opportunities for foster children, allowing them to explore their passions, pursue their dreams, and develop crucial digital skills. With each laptop costing $350, our program relies on the generous contributions of donors like you.

Every month, we receive 25 or more laptop requests from foster children who are eagerly awaiting the chance to have their own device. By supporting our cause, you can directly impact the lives of these children, helping them overcome obstacles and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.

Join us in empowering foster children by contributing to our laptop program. Your support will not only provide access to education but also foster independence, confidence, and a brighter future for these deserving young individuals. Together, we can make a real difference in their lives.

Donate today and be a part of our mission to level the playing field and create equal opportunities for foster children. Thank you for your generosity!
