Why Fort Worth SPARC is essential in Fort Worth.  We can PIVOT to address CRITICAL NEEDS with IMMEDIACY!

Fort Worth SPARC was presented with an opportunity by "Journeys of the Heart" to provide "scratch cooked" , fresh meals for one City of Fort Worth Community Center Summer Program.  The proposal was accepted and the Park Dept asked us to provide food for 20 community centers .   The ask was at 4:48 pm on Friday, May 31, 2024 with a start date of Monday, June 3, 2024 and concluding on July 26, 2024.  "Journeys of the Heart" accepted the challenge and 1365 meals were delivered daily. By week two the city added the 21st City of FW Community Center Summer Program Site.  The end result: 40,000 meals served to children in need.  Journeys of the Heart, nor, FW SPARC were reimbursed for this endeavor by the City or Texas Department of Agriculture.  We did it for the kids at a cost of >$80,000.

A "Triad of Teams"  partnering with Love 4 Locals and FW SPARC at 2828 S. Riverside Drive is precisely where the zip codes of:  76104, 76105 and 76119 converge.  We deliver:  Jump Houses, Water Slides, an on-site meal and take home food for the family, clothing, shoes, toys, and at Christmas FW SPARC delivers over 100 bikes and helmets.

Alive in 105 with Hope 4 Kids. Partnering with over ten entities we will deliver: individualized tutoring in math and literacy, food, school supplies, clothes, health education, mental wellness with on-site counselors,  books on the campuses of local schools and community centers.  Sites where students and families have access, familiarity and feel safe. #livenlovefwyouth

#FUEL "Food Uplifts Engaged Learning"  Students are receiving reconditioned bookshelves, painted by Middle and High School students.  These bookshelves are magical, as they unlock the power of the "joy of reading".  Each student visits  #FUEL, selects a brand new book,  reads, returns, refers to a friend or keeps the books to begin their library at home.  In the very backpack, the book is carried, students can also quietly take home food for the family over the week-end.  Students must return the backpack and when needed, they are welcome to as many food refills as they desire.  #FUEL  #EndHunger  #EndLackOfAccessToFood
