We have already made strides in 2023 and with your continued support through volunteering we have been able to successfully serve 24 families with children through shelter or financial assistance with getting into housing.
We have added a mobile home for transitional housing which will accept its first family, offering affordable rent; later in October. We will be back in the day center in October, allowing our temporary day center apartments to become affordable transitional housing as well, making a grand total of 4 transitional housing units by the end of the year.
With 21 families served last year, we are at a record high of need amongst families with children needing affordable housing. Your time and monetary contributions allow for our organization to continue our mission and grow our capacity to serve our neighbors in need.
