Mission

At Families United and Protected (Families UP), we believe that strong families build strong communities. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Texas, our mission is to empower youth, young adults, and families through access to mental wellness support, workforce development, and life-changing opportunities that inspire confidence, growth, and long-term success.

Needs

Our Immediate Needs

To continue expanding our impact and removing barriers for the communities we serve, we are seeking the following forms of support:

• Corporate Sponsorships & Partnerships – Help us scale our outreach, provide materials, and support volunteer training.

• Gift Cards (Amazon, Costco, Walmart, etc.) – Used to supply food, hygiene items, clothing, and workshop materials.

• Funding for Volunteers & Wellness Staff – Enable us to train and retain skilled life coaches, therapists, and facilitators.

• General Financial Support – Help us host workshops, provide counseling sessions, maintain operations, and reach more families.

No gift is too small; every dollar supports someone’s journey toward healing, purpose, and economic mobility.

Equity Statement

Families United and Protected is committed to advancing equity and inclusion across every level of our organization and programs. We recognize the systemic barriers that disproportionately affect Black, Brown, and underserved communities, and we intentionally design our services to close gaps in access to mental health care, education, and career advancement. We believe every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive regardless of their zip code, background, or circumstances.
