A Survivor’s Call to Action
As the founder of Faith2Fight. My journey with breast cancer was one of the hardest challenges I’ve ever faced. As I went through chemotherapy, I realized there was a huge gap in support for women like me—women who were not only battling cancer but also raising families. I saw firsthand how challenging it was to maintain normalcy while dealing with the emotional, physical, and financial burdens of treatment. That’s why I founded Faith2Fight: to fill that gap and offer practical help to women fighting cancer.
At Faith2Fight, we provide gas gift cards, patient encouragement bags, and host community events to support families during the hardest times. We’ve helped over 40 families through these efforts, bringing some relief and hope when it was needed most. Our mission is simple: no one should face cancer alone, and their circumstances should define no one. We are here to offer hope, love, and the strength needed to get through the battle.
Alongside this, I’m proud to share that we launched The BEE Kind Squad, a program born from my son personal experiences. As a child, he witnessed the pain his mother endured not just physically but emotionally, especially when others would react negatively to the way cancer changed my appearance. It was through this experience that Kirk wanted to help other kids who are affected by their parents’ illnesses or are facing bullying. The BEE Kind Squad serves children who are struggling with life’s challenges, including those who are facing a parent’s cancer diagnosis, bullying, or other difficult transitions. The squad currently supports 33 children and has reached over 110 kids through our outreach and partnerships.
Our mission was birthed from hardship my own battle with cancer and now it stands as a beacon of hope for others. Like bees working together in a hive, we are stronger when we unite. When we come together, we can make a genuine difference in the lives of families and children facing life's most challenging battles.
Faith2Fight empowers cancer patients and those effected by other rare forms of illness's and their families keep their strength this journey. We offer resources, education, and support, including for children. Our Bee Kind Squad program supports youth affected by any life changes and challenges they may in counter. We foster hope and resilience in all we serve.
