Meeting Families Where They Are
Frisco Moms Care evolved from a group of women with the heart to serve the community. They realized the amount of families living in poverty, trapped in abusive homes, or living in their cars was larger than anyone suspected in a seemingly affluent area. As they served, it was quickly obvious that the needs around them were bigger than anyone could fill alone, and the idea of Frisco Moms Care was born and formed as a 501(c)(3) in 2015.
Currently, we provide clothing assistance, emergency food assistance, school supplies, and other basic necessities to families when they need them most. We work directly with school counselors and social workers to help identify the families who are facing challenges. In the past, we have offered emergency utility assistance; however, that program has been on pause due to lack of funds.
Our Needs
As everyday costs climb, more families are finding themselves in tough situations. An unexpected expense can mean the difference between keeping the lights on or going without. Utilities aren’t a luxury—they’re essential for health, safety, and dignity. We are raising funds to provide emergency utility assistance so families can stay safe and comfortable in their homes. Your generosity ensures families in crisis don't lose access to basic utilities. Together, we can keep our community powered by kindness.
