At Every Avenue (formerly Incarnation House), we believe in something simple but profound: Every race. Every background. Every family. Every aspiration. Every zip code. Every circumstance. Everyone is worthy of opportunity.
This belief is not just our purpose—it’s our promise.
In 2012, we began as a small drop-in program at North Dallas High School, offering food and a safe space to teens facing housing insecurity. Their courage in the face of adversity moved us deeply—and it inspired us to take action. These students weren’t just seeking housing stability and something to eat— they were also seeking a sense of belonging.
In 2024, we became Every Avenue to reflect the truth we live by: that no matter where a child comes from, they are worthy of opportunity and a path forward.
Today, in the heart of Dallas County—where nearly 30% of youth live below the poverty line—we offer more than services. We offer hope.
Our students live in motels, shelters, and overcrowded apartments. Some have no permanent home at all. Many are just one crisis away from losing everything. And too often, they’re invisible—lacking the documentation that would even allow them to ask for help.
But inside North Dallas High School, there’s a place where they are seen, heard, loved, and encouraged.
Every Avenue is that place . . . and it's also a feeling.
Here, teens find:
- A warm meal and a safe space to take a deep breath
- Caring adults who listen and believe in them
- Counseling and case management to help them heal
- Life skills and academic support to help them grow
- Enrichment and joy to remind them they're still kids
We walk with them. We fight for them. We celebrate them. And we hope you'll walk with them too.
This North Texas Giving Day, your gift is more than a donation. It’s a lifeline. It’s a message to a young person that they matter—that their story is just beginning and that someone out there believes in their future.
Give today. Open every avenue. Change a life.
