Summer should be a time of exploration, growth, and fun—but for many children in our community, it can also mean lost learning. 📚 The HEB Reads! Summer Reading Challenge helps prevent the “summer slide” by keeping kids engaged with books, hands-on activities, and enriching learning experiences while school is out. Through exciting programs and community partnerships, we help children build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of reading.
