Welcome to EQUIHOPE! We’re passionate about the benefits of Therapeutic Horsemanship! Our mission is serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex through equine therapeutics while teaching good horsemanship in a safe environment. Our vision is to be a leading institution in equine therapy while providing world class experiences and exceptional value to our clients.
Founded in 2022 as a 501c3 non-profit, EQUIHOPE was formed to serve individuals with special needs and disabilities with safe and fun therapeutic horsemanship in a structured environment. We use internationally recognized horsemanship challenges to create a curriculum that improves physical & cognitive abilities and builds confidence & leadership.
Our staff is certified by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship to provide a safe environment for clients with technical physical & cognitive needs. With training in education, Applied Behavior Analysis, and child development, our staff understands the needs of clients of all ages and has created a program that is age appropriate from youth to senior adult. Volunteers support client services with direct program support.
