EmpowerED Outreach was founded because healing shouldn't be determined by someone's financial circumstances. We believe every person deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and build a healthier future, regardless of their income.
Through the generosity of donors and community partners, we help remove financial barriers to licensed mental health therapy while creating opportunities for healing through community-based programs and events. From our Empower Healing Circle support group and educational workshops to initiatives like our Prom Closet and Freedom Fest, we create safe, empowering spaces where individuals and families can connect, grow, and experience hope while reducing the stigma surrounding mental health.
Thanks to supporters like you, we've already helped fund 65 therapy sessions, connected individuals with licensed mental health professionals, and created safe spaces where healing conversations can begin. Every therapy session funded represents someone taking a courageous first step toward breaking cycles of trauma and building a healthier future.
But our work is far from over.
Every day, individuals are forced to choose between paying for groceries, rent, or counseling. No one should have to postpone healing because they cannot afford the care they deserve.
This North Texas Giving Day, we're raising $45,000 to expand access to therapy, strengthen our healing programs, grow partnerships with licensed mental health providers, and reach more adults across Rockwall County and surrounding communities.
