$10,000 Goal

Since the establishment of our rescue in September 2018, we have rescued more than 250 senior dogs who faced euthanasia in various north Texas shelters. Many of these dogs had health issues, such as heartworms and dental issues, which prevented them from getting adopted from the shelter. Unfortunately, there is only so much available space for shelters to house dogs, and seniors, especially ones with health issues, are generally the first to be euthanized. As mentioned, we have been able to rescue over 200 of these dogs, have gotten them the necessary medical attention and once healthy, have found them wonderful permanent homes. In the coming year we hope to increase the amount of senior dogs we rescue. In order to do this, we need the generous financial support of the north Texas community. Senior dogs (generally age 7 and older) still have many years to live and so much love to give and they deserve a 2nd chance at life, not to spend their final days in the shelter system.

Mission

Our mission is to rescue senior dogs in North Texas who have found themselves in shelters, facing euthanasia and to then find them loving permanent homes in which to live out their golden years. Senior dogs still have so much love and life to give! We will work tirelessly to help these special dogs.
