$5,000 Goal

Hi, my name is Edwin Munoz. The idea of the Edstrong Foundation came when I was paralyzed from a diving accident and realized how overlooked spinal cord injuries are in our world. As an uninsured patient, rehab, equipment, and many other resources were extremely hard to access and the realization that many others were in the same predicament was the driving force to start the nonprofit organization. As a foundation, we offer rehab exercise free of cost from our small facility. We provide financial assistance to get equipment and even help fund travel expenses to get access to adaptive sports. We even help introduce partnering foundations to better benefit their recovery overall. Our main goal as a family and foundation is to set the example of how life can still be lived to the fullest regardless of ability. We set a mission accompany every spinal cord injury in their journey towards independence.

Mission

To empower those with paralysis and other neurological disabilities through fitness-rehab, travel and community.

Needs
