A conversation between studio artist Francisco Alvarado Araujo and Easyside co-founder Corrie Thompson.
Easyside is an artist-founded incubator supporting artists with professional growth and meaningful community engagement. Founded in 2022 Easyside responds to the issues of food insecurity on the southeast side of Fort Worth, and a city-wide lack of access to professional resources for artists. Addressing both basic and creative needs, Easyside strives to create an environment of inclusivity and abundance rather than competition and scarcity.

Easyside is a nonprofit empowering artists to engage their community through arts access and food equity.
Easyside needs sustaining members who are able to donate on a regular basis to support our community of artists.
We are also looking for volunteers, local business sponsorships, and gifts-in-kind. Please reach out if you have a resource you believe may be helpful to our mission!
Easyside is committed to elevating historically marginalized voices. To do this, we work to see individuals and communities through the lens of intersectionality. We believe that a better understanding of our overlapping/intersecting identities will lead to a better understanding of the systems of discrimination that we seek to overcome.
