In the last eleven years, EFWCJB has provided hundreds of live jazz concerts for the Fort Worth community and has awarded over $50,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors.
Additional funds are needed for facility rental fee for rehearsals and concerts, clinicians, featured soloists, audio equipment and jazz music.

The mission of the East Fort Worth Community Jazz Band is dedicated to enriching our community through free live jazz performances, supporting music education and awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors. The East Fort Worth Community Jazz Band is a volunteer organization of approximately 22 members from all parts of our community who share a passion for music.
