The Dowdy Ferry Animal Commission (DFAC) was created in 2015 in response to seeing horrific situations on Dowdy Ferry Road in Southeast Dallas that was being ignored by the City of Dallas. Dallas animal advocate Jeremy Boss and his crew have found hundreds of abused, tortured and ultimately murdered dogs thrown in garbage bags and tossed on the side of the road on and near Dowdy Ferry Road. This section of Dowdy Ferry Road has become an illegal dumping ground for people’s trash and sadly dogs and other animals alive or dead.
The DFAC crew are boots on the ground 911 rescue responders, recovery investigators, and enormous activists when it comes to ensuring the dogs of Dallas have a fair chance for survival and a better quality of life.
DFAC is committed to save and give voice to the animals of Dallas, catch those who abuse or kill these animals, and deliver justice to the animals who experienced abuse and/or perish in the hands of their abuser/killer.
Join us as we go into the field to respond, rescue, and recover the animals of Dowdy Ferry Road and surrounding areas in Dallas, Texas. Let’s give these helpless animals a loving-home, and a fair chance to survive… and for those that don’t… we will deliver justice.
Your support will allow our team to continue to fight for the dumped dogs of Dowdy Ferry along with addressing animal neglect/cruelty in Dallas, Texas. We are always in need of donations and more foster homes and would love for you to join our team!
