At DLCS, we believe every person deserves access to the resources that sustain life and uplift the spirit.  That's why we bring the support directly to the people who need it most.

Through our Health & Community Fairs and educational events, we meet underserved communities where they are - offering vital resources like:

  • Nutritious food and fresh produce
  • Clothing for all ages
  • Diapers and hygiene essentials
  • On-site access to local agencies and services
  • Health screenings and wellness education
  • Opioid Overdose Prevention - Narcan Training & Distribution

Our mission is simple yet powerful:  to educate, empower and engage our highest-needs communities - not just with information, but with tangible support that restores dignity and hope.

This group of believers realized that synergy was far greater than working in silos. With hearts united in faith and purpose, we came together to serve the communities of 76103,  76104, 76105, 76112, and 76119. What began as individual efforts has grown into a collective movement—neighbors, leaders, and volunteers standing side by side to ensure that no one is left behind.

Together, we have pulled our resources, talents, and time to provide meaningful support in many forms: food drives that nourish families, health fairs that bring vital services to those in need, educational workshops that empower youth and adults alike, and spiritual encouragement that uplifts the soul. Each initiative reflects our shared commitment to dignity, hope, and unity.

Our work is not just about meeting immediate needs—it is about building lasting bridges of trust and compassion. By joining forces, we have been able to multiply our impact, creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and supported. The communities of 76103, 76104, 76105, 76112, and 76119  are rich with resilience, and we are honored to walk alongside them, offering practical help and heartfelt encouragement.

On this North Texas Giving Day, we invite you to be part of this story. Your generosity fuels our mission and extends our reach, allowing us to continue serving with love and excellence. Together, we can ensure that every neighbor experiences the power of community, the gift of hope, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
