Gaming Tournament & TEC Expo

The DFW Metro NAACP is on a mission to open doors in STEAM education for students and families who are too often left out of technology opportunities.

Every year we host our Youth Gaming Tournament & Tech Expo — a free event that feeds minds and bodies:

  • 3 free meals served to more than 200 students, 200 community members, and 100+ volunteers

  • Industry experts introducing students, parents, and community members to careers in technology

  • Surrounding school districts and colleges tabling to share their technology programs

Now gearing up for our 4th Annual Youth Gaming Tournament & Tech Expo, we’re determined to make it bigger, better, and more inclusive — welcoming even more students, families, and community members.

This event blends technology, creativity, and competitive spirit. It’s not just a gaming tournament; it’s a gateway to STEAM education and career possibilities. Students get hands-on exposure to game development, indie game creation, and a high-energy esports atmosphere — all while connecting with professionals, colleges, and vendors who can shape their futures.

But we can’t do it without you.

💙 Your gift on North Texas Giving Day directly funds:

  • Free access to the event for hundreds of youth and families

  • Meals and supplies for students and volunteers

  • Expansion to reach even more schools and communities

  • Bringing in top-tier speakers and technology partners

Together, we can continue to provide this transformative experience at no cost to families — but only with your help.

🌟 Please give generously on North Texas Giving Day and share our campaign with your friends, coworkers, and networks. Every dollar helps us inspire and prepare the next generation of tech leaders.
