DASH Network exists to love and serve asylum seekers with the compassionate, welcoming love of Jesus. We provide safe housing, holistic support, and community for individuals and families who are legally seeking asylum in the U.S. but are unable to work or access government assistance during their first 1–3 years here.
While they wait for work authorization, asylum seekers are at extreme risk of homelessness, isolation, and exploitation. DASH steps into that gap with furnished apartments, case management, ESL classes, transportation support, food access, and now legal aid—empowering our residents to build stability and hope.
Our Thrive Academy equips residents with the skills and knowledge they’ll need to thrive in the U.S., while our community-centered approach fosters deep relationships between residents, staff, and local volunteers.
Our Needs
This year, we are raising $30,000 to fully fund DASH’s Legal Support Fund—ensuring that every asylum-seeking resident has access to quality legal representation.
The U.S. asylum process has grown increasingly complex, with shifting policies and higher evidentiary demands making it harder than ever to win a case. Without legal support, even those with strong claims face denial or deportation simply due to procedural hurdles. Asylum seekers have no right to a public defender, and most cannot afford an attorney—yet those with legal representation are over three times more likely to win their case (TRAC, Syracuse University).
Through DASH’s Legal Support Program, we partner with vetted attorneys to provide residents with skilled legal representation. Your gift to the Legal Support Fund will directly safeguard the futures of dozens of asylum-seeking families, providing what is often their only path to legal protection in the U.S. Now more than ever, access to legal counsel means the difference between safety and separation.
