Design Connect Create (DCC) is a STEM nonprofit committed to empowering girls, grades 3rd to 12th grade, from low-income and marginalized communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Our goal is to bridge the gender and socioeconomic gap in STEM fields by providing hands-on, experiential learning opportunities that spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.BioTech STEM Camp 2023
Our programs include STEM Summer Camps, After-School Workshops, and year-round Mentorship opportunities, all designed to make STEM accessible and engaging. By collaborating with local schools, community organizations, and surrounding businesses, we ensure that our participants receive the support and resources they need to thrive.

There are several ways you can help Design Connect Create expand access to meaningful STEM experiences:
Support Year-Round Programs: Make a financial contribution to help fund DCC’s summer camps, after-school programs, mentorship, and career-exposure opportunities.
Provide Curriculum Resources: Donate journals, calculators, graph paper, science and robotics kits, technology, and other hands-on learning materials.
Become a Volunteer: Share your experience as a guest speaker, serve as a STEM mentor, or support a DCC program or special event.
Your financial or in-kind support helps DCC provide transformative STEM learning, mentorship, and career exposure to girls across North Texas. Together, we can expand opportunity and help prepare the next generation of women in STEM.
The call for women's involvement in STEM remains undeniable. Yet, studies underscore a disheartening reality: girls often encounter discouragement when considering STEM careers due to entrenched stereotypes and societal pressures. Our primary focus centers on girls of color within disadvantaged school districts and marginalized communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, spanning from elementary through high school.
