The Denton Animal Support Foundation (DASF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Denton, TX, dedicated to saving more Denton area animals by supporting animal shelter adoptions and preventing pet abandonment. We raise funds for vital programs that benefit local shelter animals and provide critical resources to the Denton County pet-owner community.
DASF receives no government funding and entirely depends on community support to sustain our programs.

The mission of the Denton Animal Support Foundation is to save more Denton area animals. We accomplish this by focusing on the Linda McNatt Animal Care & Adoption Center (City of Denton Animal Shelter), and the Denton community. The strategic goal is to ultimately save more Denton area animals through adoption and prevention of abandonment.
As the population of Denton grows, so does the need for DASF's crucial programs and strategic partnerships with Denton area non-profit organizations working to make life better for at-risk populations. DASF is currently in need of funding for our many programs. Your contribution benefits many homeless, injured, and neglected pets. Each year the Denton Animal Shelter serves over 5,500 abandoned pets-- your gift will further the DASF mission by providing funding for public education, and critical programs including adoption subsidies and medical expense funding.

By generating revenue in perpetuity, the Endowment Fund helps the shelter remain state-of-the-art, funding specific needs and programs that are not included in the City budget.
