DAWG has achieved a live release rate of 99.1 percent in just a few short years, and we are working hard to help animals outside of our city limits as well. We are assisting citizens with a pet food pantry, and providing access to low-cost vet care to help citizens retain their pets. We know the best place for a pet is in the home of the people who love then, and we are working really hard to ensure that happens.
DAWG is beginning a "Capital Campaign" to raise funds to build a new shelter in the city of Denison. We also need funds to continue to operate our shelter on a daily basis.
DAWG is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of pets in need. We assist the city of Denison ensuring no healthy, adoptable pets are euthanized for lack of space.
