Support Communication Access by Donating to DAC!
$1,200 Raised
What causes are you passionate about? Do you want to ensure older Deaf folks have access to daily hot meals and companionship? Or are you passionate about helping young deaf and hard of hearing students prepare for the workforce? Maybe it's with accessible technology or in advocating for the rights of the deaf and hard of hearing community? Perhaps it's making sure Deaf families have access to safe and stable housing?
No matter where your passion lies, a gift to Deaf Action Center creates a positive change in the lives of deaf and hard of hearing people. Last year, we raised over $20,000 to purchase a new bus for our seniors. This year, we invite you to join the movement and help us reach our goal of raising $25,000 for our programs. We are grateful for your support and thank you for standing with us.
Find your Passion. Give with Purpose.
Providing those who are deaf and hard of hearing the means to ensure advancement through education, economic security, and good health.
At Deaf Action Center we stand on our three pillars of service: Advocacy, Communication, and Empowerment (A.C.E.). We serve over 4,000 Deaf and Hard of Hearing community members annually and remain one of the only places in north Texas where a person can enter a building and use their native language, American Sign Language, when seeking assistance. Whether through our senior services, technology department, or advocacy team, we equip those who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing with the skills, resources, and information they need to navigate life.
Our community benefits from the many food pantry donations that are brought to Deaf Action Center for distribution. In addition to contributing towards our general fundraiser, please consider making a donation to our food pantry to ensure our community members have access to a healthy and delicious diet. For more information on how to make a food pantry donation, contact Kim Bond at kim.bond@dactexas.org.
