$10,000 Goal

Deaf Action Center (DAC) has been building bridges through communication for more than 50 years. As one of the only organizations in North Texas where individuals can access services directly in American Sign Language, DAC ensures Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals are fully seen, understood, and supported.

Through advocacy, education, and direct services, Deaf Action Center empowers individuals to achieve greater independence, economic security, and overall well-being. Every program is designed to remove barriers, create opportunities, and strengthen connections throughout our community.

North Texas Giving Day is Deaf Action Center's largest fundraiser of the year and plays a vital role in sustaining these life-changing programs.

This year, we invite you to #ShareYourCare.

When you give, you're doing more than making a donation. You're helping a child communicate, providing a family access to critical resources, connecting a job seeker with support with building a career, and a neighbor live more independently. Your generosity helps a community where access, inclusion, and opportunity are available to everyone.

Every gift matters. Every act of kindness creates opportunity.

Join us in making a difference. #ShareYourCare

Thank you for supporting Deaf Action Center and the community we proudly serve.

Giving Activity

Mission

Our mission is to provide those who are deaf and hard of hearing the means to ensure advancement through education, economic security, and good health.

At Deaf Action Center, we stand on our three pillars of service: Advocacy, Communication, and Empowerment (A.C.E.). We serve thousands of people annually and remain one of the only places in north Texas where a person can enter a building and use American Sign Language (ASL) when seeking assistance. We equip those who are deaf and hard of hearing with the skills, resources, and information they need to navigate life through our senior services, housing support, and advocacy team.

Equity Statement

For more than 45 years, DAC has empowered and equipped deaf individuals and families throughout North Texas. DAC has chosen to use one term—deaf—with the goal of recognizing experiences that are shared by all members of these diverse communities while also honoring their differences. Deaf communities in North Texas are made up of children, adults, seniors, and families of all sorts. Deafness knows no age, color, gender, race, religion, or sexuality, and DAC is committed to serving anyone who comes to us looking for support.
