One District. 130,000 Reasons to Give.

Every Dallas ISD student has a unique story, a different dream, and unlimited potential. Together, they are 130,000 reasons to give, and 130,000 possibilities for the future of Dallas.

As the nonprofit philanthropic partner of Dallas ISD, the Dallas Education Foundation inspires community investment to accelerate student success. Working alongside Dallas ISD, business leaders, philanthropic partners, and community members, we expand opportunities that help students thrive. In a district where 88% of students are identified as economically disadvantaged, that support is essential to ensuring financial circumstances do not limit a student’s potential.

Dallas ISD is making remarkable progress. The district earned an 85, or B rating, from the Texas Education Agency for 2026, which is nine points higher than in 2023. Today, 71% of schools are rated A or B, nearly 94% are rated A, B, or C, and students performed at or above the state in growth in 92% of assessed categories.

Behind Great Opportunities Stands a Community Invested in Its Students.

  • Behind every inspired teacher is a commitment to helping students succeed. Through classroom grants, innovative resources, and recognition, we support Dallas ISD educators in turning bold ideas into meaningful student experiences.
  • Behind every confident reader are early literacy initiatives, phonics resources, home libraries, and family engagement that build the strong foundation every child needs to succeed.
  • Behind every curious young learner are hands-on STEM experiences, robotics, and innovative early childhood programs that spark creativity, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning.
  • Behind every student discovering their future are career exploration opportunities, entrepreneurship programs, internships, industry partnerships, scholarships, and real-world learning experiences that prepare students to graduate ready for college, careers, military service, and life.
  • Behind every thriving Dallas ISD campus are resources and partnerships that strengthen learning environments, address emerging needs, and expand opportunities for students and educators.

Every gift stays right here in Dallas ISD, directly supporting the students, educators, and campuses that will shape the future of our city.

This North Texas Giving Day, join us in investing in One District. 130,000 Reasons to Give. Because when Dallas ISD students succeed, the future of Dallas is stronger.
