$75,000 Goal

Our unique program has served over 2000 youth since our beginning in 2009. As a direct impact of their participation in our yearly 5-day camp facilitated by 17 current and former NFL and collegiate coaches and our Career Day/ College Football Combine over 168 youth from the inner city of Dallas have received either full or partial college scholarships to various colleges across the country. Each of these youth, with the exception of one, were the first in their family to attend college. We also provide a year-round mentoring program with two components. Reading Buddies that focuses on literacy and comprehension with elementary students and CHAMPS which works with high school students that focuses on college/career, character and community service. In addition to this we also have Quarterly Virtual Meetings with approximately 70-80 student providing check in moments, inspiring messages and life resources.  The Dallas Champions Academy also looks to be a resource for families throughout the year by meeting felt needs during Thanksgiving, Christmas and our Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway.
