$100,000 Goal

Our goal at Dallas Theological Seminary is to develop leaders who are biblically rooted in their theology and relationally sound in their engagement with others.

The central textbook is the Word of God. The study of the entire Bible is a central characteristic of the DTS curriculum. Every student studies the 66 books of the Bible.

For over 100 years, DTS has sought to preserve the centrality of the Bible and its authority as the theological foundation to serve the Lord’s church. Throughout the decades, DTS has pursued the goals of our founders by preparing God’s servants for ministry.

You can help carry on the DTS legacy by helping to match our $100,000 challenge gift.

Let's work together to uphold a century-long legacy of "teaching truth and loving well!"

Since its inception in 1924, DTS has remained steadfast in its commitment to the belief that all Scripture is the inspired Word of God.

The founders of DTS established an institution dedicated to training pastors, missionaries, evangelists, teachers, counselors, and ministry leaders in all 66 books of the Bible. A century later, DTS continues to empower godly servant-leaders for the proclamation of God's Word and the building up of the body of Christ worldwide.

The mission launched by founding president, Lewis Sperry Chafer, is carried on by 600 faculty and staff members working with over 2,600 diligent students. The Seminary's influence reaches all around the globe through a network of over 18,000 accomplished alumni, living out the school's enduring motto, "Preach the Word."

The addition of DTS's free, non-formal online courses allow us to reach even more people with essential training. Over 800,000 people have taken a free on-line course at courses.dts.edu.

DTS is funded by tuition and gifts. Since our founding in 1924, we have made teaching the Bible our highest priority. Every one of our professional ministry master's degrees has the same core: eight classes that cover all 66 books of the bible and six classes that cover all branches of systematic theology.
