With a 96-year history of serving North Texas communities, Methodist Health System is a trusted provider of health services and one of the oldest nonprofit health systems in this region. Methodist strives to fulfill its mission to improve and save lives through compassionate, quality healthcare.

Methodist's growing network of healthcare facilities and programs includes 12 hospital campuses, 50-plus Methodist Family Health Centers and Medical Groups, and a host of initiatives that extend services throughout North Texas. Your previous contributions have made an impact on our ability to provide quality healthcare for those in need. Below are two programs that could urgently benefit from your generosity:

  •  Life Shines Bright / Prenatal Centering Pregnancy Program: This program helps expectant mothers have a healthy pregnancy and improved birth outcomes. It offers individual and group education, ongoing pregnancy monitoring, and medical treatment for these newborns to have the best possible start in life.
  •  Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program: Specially-trained nurses working in the SANE program provide compassionate and quality care for victims of sexual assault including medical and trauma care, forensic examinations, education, advocacy, counseling, and support.

Each year, to improve access to health services, Methodist provides more than $138 million in charity care for patients who are uninsured or underinsured. With your help, Methodist will continue to serve more patients throughout our community. We truly appreciate your consideration to join with us again in making a difference and helping Methodist Health System to provide lifesaving medical care.

Giving Activity

Mission

The mission of Methodist Health System is to improve and save lives through compassionate, quality healthcare.

Every dollar raised on North Texas Giving Day goes directly to a Methodist program and project – something we are very proud of. In 2022, Methodist Health System Foundation distributed $11 million to community outreach, scholarships, capital and equipment, and indigent care.

On September 21, we hope you will strongly consider supporting the critical role Methodist plays in our communities. Our impact is greater with your help, and lives are being improved and saved because of your generosity.

*In your Cart, you can select to add a Tip to North Texas Giving Day to cover a portion of credit card fees. This is completely optional and to add No Tip, click on the dropdown menu and select Custom Tip and write in 0, which will then let you choose No Tip. We apologize for this extra step and sincerely appreciate your generous support.
