At the Dallas Meditation Center, we envision a North Texas community where every individual experiences peace, joy, compassion, creativity, and well-being. We believe a better world happens one person at a time. When an individual is happier and more balanced, they are better able to serve other people. This creates ripples of compassion and kindness that can heal our communities and help people see how much we have in common. We all want to be happy, free, and at peace. In short, our work is to help people discover their own inner happiness and to help spread that throughout the community. Through the very simple practices of mindfulness and meditation, anyone can connect to themselves and the world around them on a deeper, more peaceful level. Our vibrant community welcomes all people, from all backgrounds to come and support each other without judgment or exception. Here you are free to truly be yourself and to experience the joy of mindful living.
Our non-profit center runs entirely on donations and fundraisers because we believe that these practices can benefit anyone, and should be available to anyone regardless of financial status. The last four years have been extremely challenging for many people and now more than ever the importance of compassion, mindfulness, and community can be felt. We need your help to continue our programming, expand our reach and make sure we can provide support to anyone who needs it. We want to bring people together, especially now in a time when separation and polarization are at an all-time high. We want people to see the goodness in themselves and each other. There is no limit to the good humans can do when we listen to each other, practice mindfulness together, and find common ground. The Dallas Meditation Center exists to help people do just that. When we look deeply through the practices of mindfulness and meditation, we can see ourselves and each other as unique, valuable, and deeply connected beings
