DFW Community Outreach, a dedicated nonprofit organization, is seeking sponsorship and financial support to underwrite the cost of providing complete Thanksgiving meals to over 3,000 families in need. Our Annual Thanksgiving Outreach serves as a lifeline for low-income households experiencing food insecurity, ensuring they can partake in a warm holiday meal with dignity. This year's Distribution Day is 11/22/25!
We are seeking corporate sponsors, philanthropic organizations, and community partners to assist in funding or donating essential food items, including turkeys and side dishes. (Canned vegetables by the case, boxed mac n cheese, boxed cornbread, boxed stuffing, fresh onions, potatoes & corn)
Background & Social Need:
The issue of food insecurity continues to escalate, particularly in underserved areas of the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex. The rise of food deserts—communities with limited access to affordable and nutritious food—has left thousands of families struggling to put meals on their tables. During the holiday season, these challenges are exacerbated, making our Annual Thanksgiving Outreach a crucial initiative to address hunger and promote community well-being.
Impact of Investment (IOI):
Your support will have a tangible and meaningful impact:
Food insecurity is a pressing issue, but together, we can make a difference. We invite you to join us in ensuring that no family in our community goes without a Thanksgiving meal. Your generosity and partnership will make an immediate and lasting impact on the lives of those in need.
