The Cure Glaucoma Foundation (CGF) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization established to address the burden of blindness related to glaucoma in underserved communities. CGF’s mission is to improve access to quality care and disseminate knowledge through global outreach efforts. Its goals are achieved by developing the following vision programs:
International Medical Missions – Providing culturally competent glaucoma treatment services, vision health education, and connections to ongoing ophthalmology care for patients worldwide.
Train the Trainer Fellowship Program – Equipping ophthalmologists with the skills and knowledge to mentor others, thereby expanding glaucoma detection and treatment capacity in developing countries.
Access to Care Programs – Serving families and individuals in need of glaucoma care with eye exams, surgeries, and post-operative clinical care necessary to prevent disease progression and blindness.
International Observerships – Instructing fellowship trained ophthalmologists to improve their practical skills and broaden their perspectives in the specialized practice of glaucoma care.
Our local and international efforts are possible only because of your generosity. Together, we are advancing our mission and protecting sight in communities around the world.
The mission of the Cure Glaucoma Foundation is to improve access to quality care for glaucoma patients and disseminate knowledge through global outreach efforts.
Access to Care:
Our partnership with the Cedar Springs Eye Clinic ensures that patients with glaucoma—at any stage—can receive treatment regardless of financial means. This collaboration provides access to leading specialists, offering care that prevents vision loss and permanent disability. Your support helps us deliver affordable services and vital education to underserved patients, closing a critical gap in care.
International Medical Missions:
Glaucoma is a leading cause of irreversible blindness, especially in low-resource countries where diagnosis and treatment are often out of reach. The Cure Glaucoma Foundation’s international missions deliver sight-saving care, education, and training directly to underserved communities. Your support provides essential surgeries, medications, and training for local doctors—helping prevent blindness and bringing hope to families worldwide.
"At Cure Glaucoma Foundation, we're dedicated to equity and inclusion for all. We value diversity and strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and empowered to thrive."
