Who We Are

Cornerstone Ranch is a faith-based home and day program in McKinney for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Down syndrome, autism, and cerebral palsy. Built on Christian values, our family-centered environment creates a safe place where independence thrives, character grows, and confidence is nurtured. The adults who make up this amazing community, or Ranchers, are given the opportunity to experience abundant life. Ranchers spend their day serving, exercising, worshiping, and working as productive and useful members of the community.

From art and ceramics to Meals on Wheels deliveries and local outings, Ranchers discover their unique gifts and embrace purposeful, joy-filled lives.

Mission

Cornerstone Ranch exists to empower adults with special needs to live the abundant lives they were created for. We do this through our 3Ps: Place, People, and Purpose.

Ranchers experience joy as they find their purpose through community outreach and enriching activities, helping them gain independence, form meaningful connections, and uncover their unique gifts.

Needs

Your gift makes an immediate difference. It puts paintbrushes in our Ranchers’ hands, food on their tables, and gas in the vans that take them into the community. It keeps the lights on, waters our garden, and sustains the dedicated staff members who pour out their patience and love every single day.

Most importantly, your donation tells the world that people with special needs deserve care delivered with dignity, creativity, and love.

At Cornerstone, 100% of every donated dollar goes directly to our programs, never to administrative or fundraising costs. We don’t accept government funding because doing so could jeopardize the family-centered, faith-based environment that makes our community so special.

Here’s how it works: Ranchers pay a subsidized tuition, and our residential program operates on a sliding scale. This tuition covers about 20% of our budget and pays for all administrative costs, so donations go straight to what matters most, our Ranchers and the programs that serve them.

We take stewardship seriously. Cornerstone Ranch is ECFA certified, holds a Guidestar Gold rating, and has earned the Excellence in Giving Seal of Transparency. We also undergo annual audits and reviews to ensure your support is used wisely and effectively.

Equity Statement

Cornerstone Ranch loves and serves people of all faiths and backgrounds without regard to any identifying factors. We honor diversity and seek inclusion at the highest level.
