Thousands suffer from the burden of poverty in Tarrant County. Our neighbors are struggling with unemployment, rising housing costs, food insecurity, and the effects of generational poverty. Most have little hope for the future.
The Cornerstone Assistance Network was established in 1992 to meet needs and restore hope for individuals and families in Tarrant County. Our staff and volunteers take time to uncover underlying needs and provide restorative solutions through direct services like medical and dental clinics, a food bank, clothes closet, and housing programs.
We also maximize support by partnering with agencies, churches, businesses, and community organizations. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to relief, recovery, and restoration. Relief meets urgent needs with food, clothing, furniture, medical services, and emotional support; recovery provides ongoing help through life skills training, job support, and reentry navigation; and restoration focuses on long-term development, including mentoring, permanent supportive housing, and homeownership opportunities.
Your generous donation can:
- Respond to the urgent needs of a child who is suffering
- Help an ex-offender find a job and contribute to society
- Supply a warm and safe room for a homeless man who is trying to obtain a degree
- Provide medical care to a refugee who is sick
- We have seen people rise from poverty and be restored to hope. Thank you for joining us in this work to help "the least of these"... Matthew 25:40
This work is only possible because of people like you. Your gift on North Texas Giving Day will provide food, housing, medical care, and spiritual and emotional support to those who need it most. Every donation helps restore dignity and opens the door to a brighter future.
