Compassionate DFW

A nonprofit organization

We are involved with 12 different areas of our community including Arts, Business, Communities, Education, Environment, Healthcare, Peace & Non-Violence, Religion/Spirituality/Interfaith, Restorative/Social Justice, Science & Research, Social Services, and Women & Girls/Gender Equity to educate and connect different groups working in compassionate action with Education being our current focus. Individuals and organizations that affirm the Charter for Compassion, an international organization, automatically become partners with Compassionate DFW. The cities of Ft. Worth, Richardson, and Dallas have affirmed the Charter, are partners with Compassionate DFW, and are involved in encouraging acts of compassion within the community. Examples of these acts include Feeding Children Everywhere events, Health Fairs, a Compassion Conference & Compassion Walk in the fall, compassion in the arts events, welcoming immigrants and refugees, as well as serving the low income and the homeless populations within these cities. Our partners include many organizations, large and small, as well as hundreds of individuals in the DFW area.

Needs

This is Compassionate DFW's only fundraising for our administrative expenses. We are a 100% volunteer organization but we still need to fund our website and P.O. Box plus other office supplies. Please consider a gift of any size to help us continue our work of connecting individuals and organizations promoting Compassion in our community.
