"At The Compass School, we are teaching life skills and inspiring students to be creative and confident leaders of tomorrow." - Shelly Sender, Head of School
The Compass School of Texas is a private school located in the heart of Dallas, TX, offering enrollment in Pre-K through 5th grade for the fall of 2026. Adding a grade each year, Compass will be a Pre-K through 8th grade school by the year 2029. This co-ed independent school offers small classes that are designed to engage young children in real-world simulations to develop fine motor skills, financial literacy skills, and emotional intelligence, while inspiring creativity through a holistic curriculum.
As Compass continues to grow, North Texas Giving Day support helps us meet the evolving needs of our students and educators and cover operational costs. Gifts provide essential funding for educator professional development, campus safety, innovative academic programs, and the resources needed to deliver an exceptional whole-child education.

Mission
The Compass School of Texas equips students with a strong academic foundation that fosters analytical thinking, instills the joy of learning in a wholesome environment, and inspires the pursuit of purpose.
Vision
We believe in inquiry-based learning, academic excellence, and bringing real-world experiences into the classroom to help students draw connections between what they are learning and how they can impact their communities and ultimately the world. Our vision is to grow the School to serve students in Pre-K-8th grade.
Core Values
Rooted in five core values—community, family, leadership, purpose, and resilience—The Compass School of Texas provides a strong academic foundation. Through hands-on experiences in nature, we encourage social and emotional growth, analytical thinking, and intellectual curiosity. Parent partnership is essential, and we are committed to positively impacting families for generations to come.
The Compass School of Texas admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
