$5,000 Goal

  1. The Clubfoot Research Foundation is a leader amongst other non-profit in genomics. We are increasing awareness for Clubfoot and all other genetic dispositions that are considered co-morbidities. In the CTEV arena that means almost all other genetic dispositions are touched by Clubfoot. Clubfoot is a Golden Thread disease and very common, yet consists of many rare types of CTEV.
  2. Due to the huge burden of education in this disorder - we are raising funds to create a genetic and neurological research support and therapy center where physicians can visit to assist such patients in Collin, Denton, Dallas counties. We already partnered with the Tracks4Kids.org program to provide such services specifically for children between 8-20 years old.
  3. We provide research topics to Universities, Researchers even the CDC since 2013 to move the knowledge about CTEV forward and to increase awareness of the scope of this disorder amongst other genetic dispositions. We provide analysis and discussions on published research to educate stakeholders on our social media platforms
  4. We raise funds for new stem cell or genetic research projects that needs to occur in the future to identify the disease overlaps for complex genetic disorders - funds to sponsor treatment for patients in the future

Our Needs

  1. We need land and buildings to set up a much needed mental health treatment facility locally for genetic disorders.
  2. We need to sponsor and setup a new website and patient registry after we met with the NIH on furthering the knowledge of this disorder.
  3. We need to fund a new symposium that is inclusive of all patient types and treatment options. ($50 000).
  4. We need funds to fly patients to treatments that work. Local treatments are marginal and result in more disability.
  5. We need donations of clothes and shoes that we recycle to cover all the admin costs.
  6. We consider medical equipment donations such as motorized wheelchairs, crutch covers etc.
