$100,000 Goal

Meeting People Where They Are

City Missions exists to offer hope and restore dignity to those facing homelessness in North Texas.

Every week, our team shows up on sidewalks, in storage units, and behind gas stations, wherever our friends call home, through street outreach, mobile closet events, and hygiene kit distribution.

We may start with a pair of socks. Our work never stops there.

Every hygiene kit is a fresh start. Every pair of shoes is a reminder that someone matters. Every conversation is a chance to build the kind of trust that leads somewhere better. We ask questions and listen without judgment. We don't offer quick fixes. We offer consistency and care.

This work happens through our Reach and Connect Program: a dedicated outreach worker, a warehouse to store and sort donated goods, and a vehicle to reach our friends wherever they are. Running it costs about $125,000 a year. This North Texas Giving Day, we're raising $100,000, to keep showing up, week after week, for the people who need it most.

Homelessness is rarely just about losing a home. It often starts with losing community, trust, and connection. We believe restoration happens the same way: through relationship, one step at a time.

Dignity is the first step. Housing is the goal. Your gift today helps us meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and reminds our friends on the street that their story is not over.

Not just a meal. Not just a moment. Give today and help us keep showing up.

How Your Gift Helps Right Now:

$20 provides essential care for one individual, including a hygiene kit, clean clothes, socks, and encouragement through our outreach team

$30 supplies breakfasts, lunches, and sometimes a warm evening meal for a friend in need

$250 fuels our outreach team for 5 trips to distribute supplies and build trusted relationships

$1,500 supports someone’s journey off the streets and into a more stable, long-term solution, whether through recovery, housing, or ongoing case management

Equity Statement

City Missions serves individuals from all walks of life, with a deep understanding that the challenges of housing instability impact people across races, backgrounds, abilities, and life experiences. We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where every person is treated with dignity, seen as valuable, and offered support without judgment.

Our team reflects the diverse community we serve. We intentionally seek out staff, volunteers, and leaders who bring a wide range of perspectives and lived experiences. We believe that embracing diversity not only strengthens our mission, it ensures that our decisions are shaped with wisdom, empathy, and insight.

Through relationship-based outreach and collaborative partnerships, we’re building a culture of compassion, equity, and hope. Where everyone has a place at the table and a path toward stability.
